Celebrity is the new frontier. It is the new art form. People are able to create their status in the world of status as if they were painters or sculptors or actors or writers. Fame is created like the lines of a poem; in the world wide language of attraction and events, a free verse of media and events both virtual and actual.

Why would anyone be surprised that both the american right wing politicians, their lackeys, and flacks would be on the same page as the Taliban and Al Qaeda concerning Obama. After all they both use fear to try and control their constituencies and are terrified of free and hopeful people.

Socialism is based on social contracts working for the benefit of a community, capitalism is based on financial contracts controlling power.

If conservatives call me a socialist i say yes i am being social. Since by their own definition conservatives are the opposite, then they are anti-social. And they prove it every day through their anti-social, pro-power conserving actions. A liberal’s actions are pro-social and anti-power hoarding.
